Sensory Evaluation
Our sensory evaluation services help you measure how consumers perceive your product over time. Using trained panels and verified methodologies, we assess sensory attributes such as colour, aroma, texture and taste to determine changes in product quality, shelf life and consumer acceptance.
Hedonic Scale Testing
We use a hedonic difference test with a panel of trained technicians who score product attributes based on colour, aroma, texture and taste – on a structured scale. This method provides clear, quantifiable insights into sensory changes, helping you understand how your product performs as it ages or varies between batches.
Triangle Testing with Chi-Square Analysis
Our triangle testing involves blind tasting where panelists are presented with three coded samples – two identical and one different, where technicians are required to identify the odd sample. Results are statistically validated using Chi-Square analysis, ensuring robust, defensible evidence of whether a sensory difference truly exists.
Why Sensory Analysis Matters
Sensory evaluation bridges the gap between science and consumer perception. By combining hedonic scoring and triangle testing, we provide both consumer-relevant insights and statistical validation. This ensures your product not only meets regulatory and safety requirements but also delivers consistent quality and sensory appeal throughout its shelf life.
